Steven J.J. Weisman, is Of Counsel to Margolis Bloom & D’Agostino, and focuses his practice on estate planning, probate, and identity theft scams. A graduate of Boston College Law School, Steve is presently a senior lecturer at Bentley University. In 2013, he received the Gregory H. Adamian Award for Excellence in teaching at Bentley University. He has also taught at the University of Massachusetts, Curry College, and Boston University.

Steve is the legal editor and a columnist for Talkers Magazine and has received a Certificate of Merit from the American Bar Association for excellence in legal journalism. He has also authored numerous articles on legal matters for various periodicals including The Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, Playboy Magazine, Bottom Line Magazine, and US Air Magazine. Steve has appeared as an expert on scams on the Dr. Phil Show, CNN, Fox, and NBC. He is a frequent contributor to NECN.

Steve is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts as well as the U.S. Supreme Court and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is also a Fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, an honorary organization whose membership is limited to no more than 2% of the members of the Massachusetts bar.
