Protecting Nazi Restitution Funds

Knowing how to protect Nazi restitution funds can be very important for Holocaust survivors.  In 2011, it was estimated that there were still approximately 125,000 Holocaust survivors living in the U.S. Given the ages of those affected, this population is declining markedly each year. Nonetheless, there are significant legal protections for funds received by victims of Nazi persecution, so for those who receive such restitution payments, it is critical to be aware of these protections when such cases do arise.
