How long have you been at MBD and what were you doing before? Almost eight months (started mid-May 2025), and was Director of Finance at Northeastern University Innovation Campus in Burlington prior. I worked at NU 27.5 years total and had multiple roles, all prior in finance/administration in the College of Engineering.
Who was the most influential person in your life? Both my mother and then older sister Carmen (I am youngest of 9, Carmen was 2nd of 9).
On any given Saturday, where can we find you and what would you be doing? Summertime & fall, up at my campsite in York Maine – hiking, kayaking, cooking with group of friends; in winter early spring, running errands or connecting with family on house projects, painting etc. then dinner with family or friends.
Favorite food to eat or make or both? Tough one, and both – lots of favs to cook & eat, meatballs, lasagnas, grilling ribs & chicken & veggies, and lots of baking – pistachio cake, cheesecake, cookies (anisette, ginger) – these are my “go-to’s”
Best place you have traveled, and/or dream destination? (Been to): Ireland, Italy, Amsterdam, Dream dest’n: Europe/Krakow
Any fun facts about you? Clumsy but bounce back, love bicycyling & swimming in ocean and past few years love birdwatching, esp. hummingbirds, also love going to the movies & indulging in buttered popcorn (add plain M&M’s too – fabulous)!
