How long have you been at MBD and what were you doing before? I’ve been an associate attorney at MBD for nine months. Before joining the firm, I was the Director of Equal Opportunity/Title IX Coordinator/504 Coordinator at Bridgewater State University overseeing their compliance with civil rights laws and regulations.
Who was the most influential person in your life? I was most influenced by my brother; he is two years older than I am. Growing up, I wanted to be the exact opposite of him, but I’ve realized that we are extremely similar. He was a constant motivator for me to push myself and be the best at whatever I took on. I am so appreciative of that competition.
On any given Saturday, where can we find you and what would you be doing? I will either be traveling up to Maine with the family for a nice change of pace, or working on projects at the house I bought in New Hampshire last year.
Favorite food to eat or make or both?
My favorite food to eat is Mexican – I used to live in Tucson, Arizona and I miss the spice so much. I enjoy baking with the kids, making coffee cake, banana bread, and brownies.
Any fun facts about you?
I can do a pretty decent impression of the bakers on The Great British Baking Show.
